Yes I have looked at a couple of coding environments recently, and some a longer time ago, and what's weird is how little sense they make to me.
Of course, I'm a nobody. The reason they don't make any sense is I'm not smart enough to understand them. I'm not expert enough. Right?
I'm not sure the idea that coding environments are simply not relevant for most of the population ... I'm not actually sure it makes sense, never mind whether it makes sense to me.

Blogger, this very fine tool I'm using - and this is just a single example - was built using some kind of IDE. Had to be. So I can't say IDEs don't work or aren't very good.
What if ... you know, because I'm insane ... or specifically because I'm not an expert ... I'm seeing something the industry is missing?
No one can say that cannot be true ... but I just remembered ... I cannot really claim it's true, or, to put it another way, it doesn't matter what I claim, until I can turn this into a business.
