Be careful.
Quantum Driving. You're either in one state or in another and there are only limited numbers of intermediate states. I mean, there are infinite numbers of states, but you can only access a state if you know the frequency ... or by chance ... or by some combination of those.
The maximum braking state is used only occasionally, and then when it is not really necessary. If you wait until it's necessary, it's too late. The coasting state is used quite a bit, and you can modulate off of it to slight deceleration, slight acceleration, and instantaneously between those states. For an instant you can apply firm braking, and it will change your state from, say, coasting 1 to coasting .5.
Your goal should be to go from no braking to firm braking for a moment and then back again to no braking. This is the invisible equivalent of going into a slide for a second, the rear end swinging out for a tenth of a second, and now you're in a new state. Quantum Driving.
(Coming into a little New England town, and not quite realizing it, in the snow, I hit the brakes full force, and just slid and took my chances. The tires held, and I slowed to a reasonable speed, which was very slow, given all the people pulling out of shops, the post office, and the library.)
Drinking large amounts of home made ice tea, and cream, always. I mean, I'd rather be drinking beer, but at the moment it's a little more hard to get. A whole system for manufacturing the tea, involving beakers made of borosilicate glass, and stainless alloy tea balls, and a boiler, that is, a kettle. At least it is luxurious.
Luxury. If you can achieve that - it doesn't matter whether it's cheap, or dear - then you've got it made.
I've got a whole ... it's like a palace ... of tree branches, that drape all over my house, and little jewel like birds flit through it all day, and jewel like flowers bloom in it, and all of this just grew, while I, myself, practiced mainly staying very still. People will pay $1000 a night for a view like this, and I get it every day for nothing but the cost of staying very still. For one day's rent we set into it a Bosch washer, which simply runs and cannot be considered anything but a part of the environment. Weird!
Jewels are luxury. It won't do to try to understand why. And a moth left two hundred rubies, emeralds, and sapphires on my computer screen.
Plus, I have a computer. I do feel like a multimillionaire.
