A perfect home would have all the tools required to maintain the home and the activities of the home neatly stored on the premises. How can we impose this on people?
I seem to remember being taught that to solve a problem we begin by defining the parts of the problem. Here we have a problem with a great many parts, and to some extent they are not very well defined. I see now that it simply follows that we can define larger parts of the problem, so, for example, creating a tool shed or cabinet for gardening tools, and then the question is exactly what gardening tools are required, and then, what features does this shed or cabinet require to neatly store those tools?
Ach, it's an intractable problem. Maybe my piles of tools which I have to wade through all sorts of other stuff to get to is the best solution. At least it's picturesque, and that's one of the reasons this is such an important problem and such a difficult one: the results must be just that.
At any rate, I have remembered an essential set of tools.
